Reporting to the Associate Director of the Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting Group, the Sr Manager of Accounting Special Projects will be part of a dynamic accounting team responsible for supporting acquisition integration and consultation, transaction support, internal controls projects, financial reporting support, domestic and international audit support, and the design/implementation of a new International Accounting Operating Model. This high-profile role will partner with business professionals in various functions and levels in the organization to understand the issues, evaluate accounting solutions and support key business initiatives. The individual will demonstrate knowledge of appropriate GAAP, experience with accounting systems and experience with complex business initiatives, including those around the accounting for international entities. The successful candidate will apply analytical concepts consistently based on facts and circumstances and be able communicate information effectively across functions and the business. **What You Will Do:** + Supporting acquisition and divestiture accounting projects + Supporting the design and implementation of an International Accounting Operating Model + Helping the team ensure Raytheon produces accurate and reliable financial statements and associated accounting records + Maintaining compliance to RTX policies and procedures, Sarbanes-Oxley and internal control over financial reporting to support SEC reporting requirements to Corporate + Partnering with the Business and other functions on accounting initiatives + Helping Develop talent within the organization + Ability to travel up to 25%. **Qualifications You Must Have:** + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field + Typically requires 10 years of experience in finance/accounting; or an advance degree and 7 years’ in finance/accounting experience. + Industry or public accounting firm experience in accounting, audit, or program finance. **Qualifications We Prefer:** + Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent + Audit/Process Review Experience + Previous public accounting experience (inclusive of revenue auditing) desirable + Basic knowledge of key international accounting concepts, including transfer pricing and statutory reporting + Working GAAP accounting knowledge + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Strong team player and able to collaborate across functions and Raytheon businesses **What We Offer:** + Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. \#Onsite The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
