RTX launched oneRTX focused on leveraging the scale of our three business units to improve collaboration, cost structure, productivity, and performance. The oneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation (PST) project is one of several major, multi-year initiatives under oneRTX that align to our goals as a company and optimize how we work, how we operate and how we deliver to our customers so that we can achieve our full potential.

The intent of oneRTX: PST is to harmonize processes, tools, and metrics across RTX, while deploying a common enterprise resource management platform – SAP’s S/4 HANA. The result will be a common user experience across the businesses, real-time visibility into critical data, and automation of manual tasks to enable all employees to focus on value-add activities.  With processes optimized and harmonized, we can leverage our scale so teams across RTX can share resources, leverage talent seamlessly and identify efficiencies. We will reduce cost and effort and improve performance as we break down silos and establish consistent ways of working. 

The Senior Manager, Aftermarket Process Transformation will place specific focus on all aftermarket component key requirements across Collins with special emphasis on requirements planning, functional testing and deployment.  

This role leads Collins in support of activities and RTX to enable strategic initiatives, establish program framework for process design and decision capture, and drives the launch and execution of blueprinting activities.


**This is a hybrid role that requires proximity to a major Collins Aerospace site. **

What YOU will do:

Represent Collins in business process discussions within the aftermarket segments of the strategic business units with a focus on aftermarket pilot deployments.

Partner with Digital and Collins strategic business units to evaluate and implement SAP and other tools that complement/enhance process optimization and support critical requirements.

Partner with subject matter experts in the Collins strategic business units to analyze recommendations for blueprinting to enable strategic goals identified in Global Design and to compare with local blueprinting.

Support project planning for assigned responsibilities.

Lead aftermarket pilot deployment activities across Collins in support of RTX established scope, timeline, and resource plan for the assigned aftermarket business processes.

Support the execution of blueprinting activities of defining global process designs, standardizing metrics, and reporting, designing common information model, building global template, and testing for readiness.

Partner with the Master Data Lead to ensure data to ensure consistency, accuracy and data validation.

Partner with strategic business units to plan and execute activities in support of the various phases of the project.

Ability to travel up to 25%-50% (variable based on incumbent’s location) to key Collins sites and other major RTX US sites (Richardson, Windsor Locks, Cedar Rapids, and Charlotte).

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).

Experience with a large-scale system implementation project.

Experience with SAP, MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel and other applicable software.

Familiarity with aerospace and defense industry and the aftermarket business processes such as aftermarket planning and MRO management.

Ability to communicate with parties within and outside of their own function.

Ability to influence others to accept job function’s view/practices and agree/accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.

Ability to communicate with executive leadership.

Balance technical possibilities with business priorities.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Cross-functional knowledge of multiple work areas typically obtained through advanced education combined with aerospace and defense experience.

CORE (or equivalent) and project management expertise.

Knowledge of SAP integration across the aftermarket.

Work effectively in a matrix and team environment and collaborate across lines of business and function.

Scope and effectively manage multiple activities concurrently.

Align and translate strategy into specific goals, tactics, action plans and deliverables; clearly track and report progress to plan at both executive and working team level.

Identify critical organizational issues and root causes; provide objective, practical, data-driven solutions.

Heritage Rockwell Collins aftermarket process understanding and familiarity.  

Develop and deliver sound, persuasive business cases that result in leadership action.

Work productively in a fast-paced, demanding environment (virtually as well as in-person).

Effectively lead and manage change.

Guide and influence at multiple levels of the organization to include executive leadership.

Present well and synthesize complex information into easy-to-understand visuals and text for all level audiences.

SAP Products and Boundary Systems Knowledge, prior implementation experience.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
