Schwab Advisor Services, the industry leader of custodial, operational, trading, product, and technology solutions for independent fee-based investment advisors (RIAs), is seeking an innovative, results-driven individual to serve as Senior Manager, Project Management within the Enterprise Solutions (ES) organization’s Projects & Program Office.

 

The Advisor Services Enterprise Solutions organization serves clients that consist of National RIAs, mega-volume RIAs, Strategic Acquirers, TAMPs and national IBDs. The ES Project & Program Office (ES PPO) oversees the ES project portfolio which drives the execution of projects and initiatives to address the needs of our Enterprise RIA clients, and supports our organizational strategic objectives. 

 

The Senior Manager, Project Management will lead cross-functional projects that drives firm NNA, increases revenue, increases client sentiment or decreases expenses. This role brings structure and clarity to complex initiatives through disciplined planning, critical thinking and strategic execution. The Senior Manager will own projects that test strategic hypotheses that are rooted in client-specific and/or Enterprise Solutions organizational priorities. Acting as a connector and voice of Enterprise Solutions, this role ensures critical alignment and communication across internal partners.

 

**Please Note: We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s) a minimum of 4 days a week.

Required Qualifications:

5-7 years of experience in a project management, business management or client-focused preferredBachelor’s degree required

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Licensed is a plus (FINRA Series 7, 63 or SIE)Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite of products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Preferred background in financial products and servicesDemonstrated ability to influence and build consensus across diverse stakeholders with confidence and diplomacy to effectively facilitate dialogue and decision makingProven track record of independently driving priorities and managing multiple projects with quality and timelinessStrong analytical skills to interpret data, solve problems, and inform decisionsAbility to foster connections across different parts of the organization to drive a well-rounded implementation strategyA ‘can-do’, results and detail orientation approach to executing on projects with a focus on organization, efficient productivity and development of creative solutionsExceptional communication and storytelling skills, including executive-level presentations in PowerPointAbility to navigate ambiguity and apply critical thinking to complex challengesMotivated by change and a demonstrated success with effective change management is a plusUnderstanding of Advisor Services business model and field organizations, with direct experience preferred

 

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
