Your Opportunity

Schwab Retirement Operations Platform and Strategy is looking for an experienced Senior Product Owner that will lead the design, management, and innovation of platform solutions for retirement plan participants, sponsors, and consultants. You’ll play a pivotal role in modernizing our recordkeeping systems, driving operational efficiency, reducing risk, and delivering tailored experiences that help our clients and business teams thrive. You will develop and implement product roadmaps for new offers coming into RPS and be responsible for the long-term vision for the products.

 

 

What you will do:

Define and communicate a clear vision and roadmap for API products aligned with company goals, customer needs, and partner/channel opportunitiesCollaborate with Product, Systems Engineering, Data Platform, and Architecture teams to define technical experience and product requirements, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, auditable, and maintainableEnsure API products and integrations drive measurable business outcomes and provide first-class access for key internal products that rely on this productManage API and integration platform and partner relationships, maintaining technical requirements and documentation standardsCollaborate with engineering teams to plan and prioritize work, balancing technical efforts with new products and product enhancementsDevelop and maintain product documentation, user guides, API specs, and release notes for both internal and external audiencesProvide technical enablement for support, ops, and partner teams, ensuring clarity around capabilities, use cases, and integrationsServe as a bridge between business and technical teams, translating complex requirements into actionable deliverablesSolid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience writing technical and non-technical requirements and acceptance criteria What you have

Preferred Qualifications
