Job Profile:

BMS is seeking an experienced Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) & Encryption Engineer in the senior manager role that drives and improves Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), certificate management, and file encryption services across the entire company. This is a technical leadership role combined with managing a team of dedicated and passionate Engineers supporting our Cyber PKI & Encryption services.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of PKI & Encryption Engineers, providing mentorship, coaching, and career development.Drive performance management processes including goal setting, regular feedback, performance reviews, and development planning.Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture aligned with organizational goals.Motivate and inspire the team to achieve excellence and continuous improvement.Allocate resources effectively across projects and operational responsibilities.Collaborate with HR and leadership on hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning.Responsible for BMS Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and certificate management.Responsible for BMS encryption service management including file and folder encryption, file share encryption.Work directly with clients, team members, technical experts, and management to deliver new capabilities or provide operational support.Integrate certificates into enterprise infrastructures like VPN, LDAP, web servers, and applications (e.g., Adobe, SAP).Provide technical assistance to protect enterprise data using certificates and protocols like SSL/TLS.Experience with third-party certificate authorities (e.g., DigiCert) and cloud-hosted PKI tools (e.g., KeyFactor).Experience with encryption and key management tools (e.g., Symantec Encryption, Thales Vormetric).Strong knowledge of PKCS protocols, encryption libraries (e.g., keytool, OpenSSL), and networking tools (e.g., telnet, traceroute, nslookup).Experience with Windows Server utilities (e.g., IIS, certificate snap-ins, ADCS, OCSP).Scripting experience (Bash, PowerShell, Python).Software development experience using tools like Postman or Java.Understanding of OOP principles, REST APIs, MVC architecture, and Java frameworks (Spring).Understanding of load balancers, proxies, and end-to-end encryption architecture.Lead technical escalations and drive incidents or problems to resolution.Develop architecture documents, network designs, roadmaps, and recovery/DR plans.Keep PKI infrastructure current and patched; lead upgrade projects and identify automation opportunities.Configure, build, and support monitoring and testing of PKI and encryption services.Support and maintain in-house developed web applications and databases.Participate in after-hours on-call support and deployment activities.Build strong relationships with internal infrastructure, application, and business partners.

Qualification:

9+ years of experience in Public Key Infrastructure and Encryption solutions.Proficient in one or more programming/scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript).Strong troubleshooting and networking skills (SFTP, PKCS, SSL/TLS, DNS, load balancers).Self-directed with excellent communication and documentation skills.BS or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
