The Sr. Manager, Nurse Practitioner (“Sr. NP Manager“) leads and manages IKC Nurse Practitioners in two or more designated programs or geographical regions. This position provides clinical leadership, oversight, coaching, supervision and onboarding of NPs to ensure that quality, cost-effective care is provided for CKD and/or ESKD patients. Supports population health management and overall financial viability of the program. The role functions autonomously, yet in partnership with operational and clinical leadership on budgeting, quality initiatives, outcomes and performance measurements and manages or supports more than one program.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

Provides ongoing coaching, development, and oversight for a team of NPs and at least one NP Lead. Oversee NP operations in more than one program, which includes onboarding of new NPs, training, clinical competence, meeting performance metrics, talent management and evaluation of NPs. 

Conducts site visits, Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE) and Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE) and standardized audits of nurse practitioner work and patient results.  

Collaborates with Ops leadership to develop and execute market budgets, population health initiatives, performance metrics, and resource allocation. Evaluates processes and projects to ensure cost effectives and reduce operational expenses. 

 

 Accountable for the oversight and effectiveness of the enhanced annual wellness visit 

Collaborates with and serves as a thought leader among Clinical leadership, NP Education Team, Nephrologist and other Providers. Participates in ongoing educational training, new initiatives, policies, and SOP for NPs and supports adoption of new technologies and EHR. 

Serves on at least one committee which sets division standards of care and policy. 

Knows and complies with DaVita policies and procedures in accordance with State and Federal regulations for patient care and services (CMS, HIPAA, OSHA, or other governing agencies); Standards necessary to maintain organizational accreditation (such as NCQA); and, State or Federal regulations of Injury Prevention and Safety Training Program. 

Other duties as assigned.

The Salary Range for the role is $115,000.00 - $183,000.00 per year.

 

 

 

If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.

New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $64,350.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $64,350.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $60,405.80/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $16.50/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $16.50/hour, Remainder of New York state: $15.50/hour

Washington Exempt: $77,968.80/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $17.66/hour, Burien: $21.16/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour, Renton: $20.90/hour, Seattle: $20.76/hour, Tukwila: $21.10/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $16.66/hour
