Sr Manager, Marketing Measurement

**Position Purpose:**
The Senior Manager, Marketing Measurement will lead a cross-functional analytics team and play a key role in connecting marketing investment to business impact. This strategic leader will support investment decisions and performance optimization across merchandising categories and media channels, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality analytics solutions for the Home Depot.
The Senior Manager, Marketing Measurement will engage senior leadership to understand measurement needs, explain methodologies, and create solutions that improve media performance and accountability. This role will drive strategic priorities and deliver on a roadmap to advance the marketing measurement framework, measurement products and capabilities, and measurement artifacts including weekly reports, monthly business reviews and quarterly business reviews. This role will demonstrate strong team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **25% - Business Collaboration** Partner with Marketing, Merchandising, Finance, Data Science, and external agencies to align measurement strategies with business objectives. Ensure business requirements are clearly defined and the analytics team has the necessary context and support to deliver solutions effectively and efficiently.
+ **15% - Communicating Results** Present predictive and prescriptive insights to leadership and cross-functional teams to guide strategic decision-making.
+ **15% - Framing & Executing Analytics** Serve as an analytics consultant to marketing leadership, enhancing reporting structures and supporting strategic decision-making.
+ **20% - Project Management & Team Support** Oversee business requests, analytics roadmaps, and coordination across teams. Assess level of effort for new projects and ensure timely delivery. Provide guidance on prioritization and feasibility of analytics initiatives.
+ **25% - People Management & Team Leadership** Provide leadership and coaching to a cross-functional analytics team. Manage resources to align with strategic initiatives and foster collaboration to drive impactful results.
**Direct Manager/Direct Reports:**
+ Position reports to Director, Retail Media Measurement
+ Accountable for the management of a department or functional group through subordinate supervisors/managers and for all personnel issues -- including selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development of subordinates.
**Travel Requirements:**
+ Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
**Working Conditions:**
+ Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Must be eighteen years of age or older.
+ Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Master's degree in quantitative fields such as Business Marketing, Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline is preferred
+ 7+ years of experience in marketing analytics, measurement, and/or data science, including 3+ years in people management with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams
+ Proven ability to build and evolve analytical tools that support consistent and scalable marketing measurement
+ Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, translating complex data into strategic insights for senior leadership
+ Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across Marketing, Merchandising, Finance, Data Science, and external agency partners
+ Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop analytics talent, driving a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and high performance
+ Proficient in SQL, Python, and/or R, with the ability to apply analytical rigor
**Minimum Education:**
+ The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
**Minimum Years of Work Experience:**
+ 5
**Competencies:**
+ Knowledge of web tagging tools such as Omniture and core metrics and reporting suites.
+ Excellent analytical and presentation skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to assimilate large amounts of data, analyze, summarize, and utilize to generate recommendations to senior leadership.
+ Proven ability to lead effective teams.
