Are you ready to lead Spectrum’s Inside Plant Operations staff and facilities? As Senior Manager, ISP at Spectrum, you will oversee Inside Plant Operations, implementing rigorous engineering standards and guiding both daily activities and long-term strategies across key network locations. Your expertise will ensure reliable service and innovation for Spectrum’s customers.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Develop a strategic, disciplined, detailed and structured team and assist with developing their direct reports as to drive a high-performance culture and environmentLead a structured, consistent, and disciplined execution of ISP activitiesOversee all cabling, equipment installation, power and cooling follows corporate TQA standardsLead efforts to ensure field compliance with corporate standards, as well as Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulationsOversee training for technical personnel and evaluate effectiveness and gaps on an ongoing basisWork with managers to establish positive employee relations through promoting an environment of open and effective communication and ongoing supportOversee and participate in assembling capital budget needsResolve issues as they are identified and escalate issues to senior management as neededSet priorities for managers and participate in the ongoing review of performance of staffEnsure all required logs, records and other documentation follow company and FCC technical requirementsAdhere to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicableCompile reporting and metric analysis as requested by managementParticipate in special projects as needed or requested by senior managementKnow, understand, and follow all company policies and provide ongoing guidance to staffWorking Conditions

Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experienceExperience
10+ years of engineering experience4+ years of management experience3+ years of project management experienceSkills
Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straightforward, and professional mannerAbility to use personal computer, software applications, handheld communication devices and applicationsAbility to differentiate between different sizes and colors of wires, make cable connections in tight spaces by bending, reaching, twistingAbility to work with small components and wires to make cable connections and use the following hand tools: electric drills, hammers, wrenches, screwdriversAbility to safely use weight-bearing equipment (such as ladders) within the maximum limitations of that equipment)Ability to accurately measure distances, using tapes or other measuring devicesAbility to read general system layouts from blueprints and system mapsAbility to operate appropriate computer or test equipment associated with positionAbility to prioritize and organize effectively; work independentlyKnowledge of basic mathematics and electronicsDemonstrated in-depth proficiency of designing, installing, and maintaining critical facility systems and service delivery equipment for all productsValid driver's license with satisfactory driving record within company required standards; ability to drive company vehicle in a safe and responsible mannerPreferred Qualifications
