The Next Gen Enterprise Master Data System (EMS) is a core component of our Supply Chain Digital Services, delivering a Golden Material Record: a single, standardized view of Johnson & Johnson products across the entire supply chain. This centralized system serves numerous global initiatives by providing one unified source for enterprise material data.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Team Management: Lead a team of 10+ employees and contractors, guiding projects/ daily data creation and maintenance activities.
+ Strategic Partnership: Act as the main point of contact for segment leadership, articulating the value and importance of Enterprise Data Management (EDM).
+ Talent Development: Champion growth through coaching, mentoring, and feedback aligned with J&J Career Management processes.
+ Data Architecture: Lead the design and development of Next Gen enterprise- data models, ensuring compliance with industry standards (GxP).
+ Data Quality & Issue Resolution: Coordinate data quality activities such as error analysis, harmonization, cleansing, and profiling to ensure accurate and reliable material data.
+ Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, managing timelines, risks, and prioritization for successful outcomes.
+ Data Framework Deployment: Lead the implementation and deployment of the Enterprise Data Management framework across the organization.
+ Collaborative Design: Work closely with Business and IT teams to design integrated, end-to-end solutions that align with supply chain needs.
+ Product Roadmap & Release Management: Run the product backlog, lead vendor relationships, and change for Next Gen EMS.
+ Communication & Advocacy: Spearhead internal communications to promote awareness and drive engagement, ensuring the successful adoption of new/ improvements to solutions.
**Qualifications**
**Education:**
+ Bachelor's or equivalent degree required.
**Experience and Skills**
**Required:**
+ 8-10 years of Data experience is required; Experience in Supply Chain preferred.
+ A minimum of 5 years of data management experience in the context of leading and running the implementation of large programs.
+ Demonstrable ability to work in multi-functional and cross-company teams, fostering collaboration and alignment. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
+ Skilled at eliciting business needs through effective questioning, listening, and translating those into technical requirements.
+ Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills lead to change and drive adoption across diverse partner groups.
+ Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives within timelines, where priorities change rapidly.
+ Strong conflict resolution and consensus-building skills.
+ Demonstrable ability to lead and influence teams while developing talent.
**Preferred:**
+ Deep technical understanding of Material Master Data and its governance across enterprise systems.
+ Expert-level proficiency in Informatica MDM solution architecture, configuration, and implementation.
+ Advanced competency in data visualization and analytics tools including SQL*Plus, Tableau, and related technologies.
+ Proficient in data architecture and design, including Data Modeling, Business Rules, Quality, Metadata Management, and Data Integration strategies.
+ Advanced skills in MS Office Suite and supporting technologies for data analysis and process design.
+ Proficient in ERP systems and their table structure particularly SAP and JD Edwards (JDE).
+ End-to-end understanding of Supply Chain business processes, including Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, and Quality.
+ Ability to influence and drive business process and system improvements through data insights and partner engagement.
**Other:**
+ Up to 10% travel is required

**The anticipated base pay range for this position is :**
$120,000-$207,000
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. • Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). • This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program. • Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits: • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year Additional information can be found through the link below.
