In this role, you will direct pre-sales Business Consultants in an assigned territory for Human Capital Management solutions. The team you will lead identifies, develops, and presents business solutions and strategies to prospective clients using the latest messaging techniques.

 

Every day, you will direct technical sales-related activities to achieve strategic team goals, plus other activities from training to resource management. You will coach and develop your people to be the best at what they do.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: Responsibilities 

 

Direct Operations. You will groom your Business Consultants to develop the technically-necessary skills to provide excellent client support on a wide range of ADP products. You will coordinate your people and provide Business Consultant support for the proper uses. Part of your team’s role is to evaluate needs and develop solutions to meet client and prospect requirements, as well as to conduct long-range studies of key account changes in sales and servicing strategies.

Develop Your Team. You will manage and grow your people (i.e., hire, train, coach, appraise, reward, motivate, etc.). You will educate Business Consultants in terms of support and sales tactics.

Support the strategic objectives. You will align your goals with those of the Divisional Vice President Pre-Sales & Vice President Pre-Sales. You will management reporting that could include reviews outlining team assignments and changes, project status changes, bonus awards, and more. You will maintain communication and coordinate activities between your Business Consultants the sales team.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Required Qualifications  

 

At least 3 years of experience in business consulting/pre-sales, preferably within a Payroll/HR software and service environment. You also have experience leading teams.

 

A college degree is great but not required. What’s more important is having the skills to do the job. If you don’t have a college degree, other acceptable experiences could include:

 

Experience noted above OR Military experience where skills including teamwork, resilience, negotiation, trust-building, and a “never lose” mentality will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success.
