**The Opportunity**
This position works out of our Alajuela, Coyol location in the Vascular division that provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for the treatment of vascular disease.
**What You’ll Do**
+ Responsible for compliance with applicablecorporate,divisionaland site policies and procedures.
+ Responsible to analyze maintenance and equipment data andidentifycritical equipment.
+ Responsible to perform root cause analysis on critical equipment and identify improvement opportunities or corrections.
+ Responsible for improvements or corrections on equipment and processesimplementation,complying withthe corresponding policies/procedures andcomplying withproject plan (time,costand resources). Also, responsibleofcoordination with the affected areas.
+ Responsible ofprovidesupport to audits on topics related to equipment and maintenance processes.
+ Responsibleofproviding support on exceptions related to equipment and maintenance activities, includingexecuteorprovidesupport to other areas or coworkers on all the exceptions stages and/or subtask completion.
+ Responsible to achieve department budget and metrics.
+ Responsible to provide technical support to Maintenance engineers, Supervisors and Technicians.Responsible to provide support to maintenance engineers,supervisorsand technicians training and certificationprocess, including update and create procedures, supporttestingand providetraining.
+ Responsibleofreview and update maintenance procedures, including EMPs, EQPs, others.
+ Responsible to provide support on obsolete equipment andsparesparts replacement, includingidentifynew technologies,executevalidations, others.
+ Responsible to create reports related to maintenance data and metrics.
+ Responsible to provide support related to equipment and maintenance activities to NPI, ME, QE, EHS and Operations projects.
**Shift: Admin (Monday – Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm)**
**On-Site position**
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electric, Mechanics, Chemistry, Electronics, Electromechanical engineering, or other related technical fields
+ 7 years of experience related to equipment troubleshooting,improvementsidentification and implementation, equipmentdesignand/or equipment maintenance positions, preferred in medical devices companies.
+ Knowledgeofcomputer applications (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint). Experience developing calibration test methods on different magnitudes.
+ B2+ English level
