Airswift is currently looking for a Sr Logistics Eng to work with our client an Oil and Gas COMPANY
Starting date: Sept 2025
• Duration: 12 MONTH RENEWABLE
• Location: Paris
Logistics engineering: Country Entry Plan / Pre-project / Project
Carry out detailed reconnaissance missions in the field to assess existing logistics infrastructures and local constraints (administrative, technical, customs, meteorological, cultural, suppliers, etc.).
Carry out logistics engineering in all phases of project development: define the logistical philosophy of operations, the resources in coordination with the logistics specialists (base, transport of people and goods by land, sea and air),
Provide cost estimates and schedules for use in the project investment decision-making process.
Representing the department on Pre-Project monitoring and decision-making committees: Quality, Project review, EIR,....
Support and monitor subsidiaries: start-up of subsidiaries / subsidiaries in operations
Act as the technical logistics contact for subsidiaries.
Providing assistance in the field: guaranteeing the safe and efficient start-up of exploration subsidiaries, preparing invitations to tender, managing a crisis, optimising existing resources and costs
Innovation: monitoring technology, developing new logistics solutions and promoting existing solutions.
Methods:
Drawing up and maintaining the Logistics Reference System (drafting and reviewing rules, specifications and manuals).
Objectives and deliverables: Produce logistics plans with associated costs and timescales, to be used in project investment decisions. To develop the logistics plans of existing subsidiaries in order to maintain their profitability. To ensure compliance with the Logistics Reference Framework by the various divisions. Travel / Missions to South America, Africa, Middle East 4 times per year
