Essential Role The Sr. Licensed Colorist is a leader among peers and is responsible for welcoming and properly training new Licensed Colorists
Essential Function • Sr. Licensed Colorists are responsible for developing and educating all newly licensed colorists while ensuring optimal customer experiences, effectively overseeing education, and maintaining brand standards
• Sr. Licensed Colorists model and clarify company policies and procedures, product knowledge, customer service skills, and sales techniques
• Sr. Licensed Colorists set the example for others in delivering a positive customer experience and do this through role modeling exceptional customer service and consistent accountability
• Sr. Licensed Colorists achieve sales and KPI goals, monitor performance to drive sales, and meet goals with their own on-queue consultations
• Sr. Licensed Colorists facilitate clear communication with customers, peers, Licensed Colorist Supervisors, and other departments as needed within the organization

30% • Participates in Finesse and Color Consultant calls to promote teamwork and support
• Works with the supervisor to share key information and provide training to Licensed Colorists
• Focuses on delivering outstanding personal performance results
• Acts as a mentor for new and underperforming Licensed Colorists, offering guidance and encouragement.
• Lead the third week of the onboarding process for our Licensed Colorists, focusing on skill development and integration
• Champion for change and support new initiatives

Knowledge, Skills/Abilities, and Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Cosmetology license required
• Minimum 2+ years of retail sales/customer service experience with Sally Beauty
• Ability to support a team of License Colorist to meet business objectives
• Proficient with Company technologies used and can lead virtually with ease
• Practice consistently meeting Company expectations with Brand and Operational Standards
• Integrity for demonstrating our Culture and Values to a high standard
• Is well organized and can plan and prioritize tasks to meet business needs effectively
• Strong oral and written communication skills with team, peers, and management
• Must have scheduling availability to meet the needs of the business

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
The typical working environment is virtual in a home office, and the work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the job. However, some tasks or activities may be walking, standing, bending, carrying light items such as papers, files, books, and small parts, or driving an automobile to a store location, etc. These activities are not frequent and do not require significant physical demands to perform the work.
While involving everyday risks or discomforts, the work environment is designed with standard safety precautions in place. These precautions, typical of places like offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, residences, or commercial vehicles, include using safe work practices with office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated, ensuring the safety and comfort of our employees.
