Your ‘day to day’

We are seeking a Sr Lead, Product Security Assurance (Supplier Security) 12months contract to help safeguard PMI’s intellectual property and the integrity of our electronics value chain—from design and development through supply/manufacturing, testing, and logistics. In this role, you’ll support the Manager, Product Security Assurance in defining and deploying product‑security requirements across the RRP lifecycle, leading supplier security assurance activities, building security capability with vendors, and coordinating responses to security incidents across our ecosystem.

Oversight & management reporting (supplier audits)

Serve as technical SME for a sustainable, global security‑audit lifecycle and compliance assurance process across the electronics value chain—upstream and downstream.Execute and manage security audits and reviews; consolidate reports and findings; monitor and validate supplier corrective actions and control measures to ensure quality and timeliness.Ensure proper escalation and reporting of outstanding findings or significant security gaps; contribute data and reporting to Product Security program KPIs; identify trends and exposures requiring additional controls.Monitor and assure the quality of audits performed by contracted third parties. 

Capability building & training

Support in‑person and remote security capacity‑building and training with third‑party suppliers to raise security maturity across the electronics value chain.Contribute to internal security training/awareness, consultancy, and broader capability‑building initiatives.  

Stakeholder engagement

Support discussions and presentations with global internal stakeholders; maintain strong communication across Product, Procurement, and Electronics.Provide critical input to Procurement during supplier selection and identify opportunities to embed security objectives into business processes. [

Product Security program delivery

Develop and monitor bespoke protection plans for NPI, special/limited releases, and special projects.Evaluate new suppliers for potential security risk exposure during selection/onboarding and ensure risks are adequately addressed.Lead or coordinate investigative response and root‑cause analysis for security‑related loss and fraud incidents—particularly IP asset leakage and product‑security events within the electronics value chain.Document and report all security threats, risks, and incidents related to electronics product supply, ensuring timely and appropriate response.

 

Who we’re looking for:

University degree (advanced degree or professional certifications in security risk management and/or occupational health & safety are a plus).6–10 years in corporate security management, preferably with direct experience in global product operations within the technology and manufacturing sectors.Demonstrated program/project management skills; exposure to innovation processes in international companies.Mission‑driven with high personal and professional integrity.Strong analytical ability to distill complex information into clear, concise insights.Fluent in English and Chinese.Up to 30% worldwide to engage suppliers, conduct audits, and support incident response.
