This role leads complex reporting and data modeling efforts, ensures governed and reliable access to data, and applies strong domain knowledge across key business enablement functions such as Project & Portfolio Management (PPM), Resource Management, IT Financial Management, and Workforce Management. The senior analyst serves as a subject matter expert for enterprise analytics tools, data integration practices, and cloud-based platforms, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP). They partner closely with business leaders and IT teams to deliver scalable, high‑impact analytics that support strategic and operational decision‑making. Key Responsibilities + Lead requirements gathering, solution design, and delivery for complex analytics initiatives + Guide business stakeholders on effective use of metrics, KPIs, and analytical approaches + Translate complex business and operational needs into scalable technical solutions + Design, build, and maintain reports, dashboards, data models, and automation workflows using Microsoft Power Platform and other enterprise analytics technologies + Manage analytics environments, datasets, and deployment processes across development, test, and production + Establish and promote standards, best practices, and governance for enterprise analytics platforms + Design and maintain robust, scalable data models optimized for performance, usability, and long-term sustainability + Lead data connectivity and integration efforts between analytics platforms and enterprise sources such as Clarity PPM/RM, IT Financials, and cloud-hosted platforms including GCP + Own data quality management, validation processes, and troubleshooting for department-wide reporting and analytical solutions + Identify, recommend, and drive continuous improvements in analytics capabilities, automation, and reporting efficiency + Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing for analysts and developers + Contribute to analytics strategy, roadmap planning, and platform evolution across the IT organization Assists with and participates in leadership, coordination and management of activities required to operate, direct or advise a Mayo department or equivalent organizational structure. Coordinates project, division and/or department budgets and provides appropriate financial reports and metrics for making department decisions. Independently manages multiple large-scale internal business projects or single department-scale projects from inception to close, including resource management, risk identification and mitigation, quality assurance and change control. Must have broad knowledge of IT systems and interrelated technical processes in order to make necessary decisions regarding hardware, software or technology agreements. May serve as subject matter expert for requirements gathering for industry proposals on behalf of Mayo Clinic. Routinely interfaces with department committees and executive leadership and provides performance reports with strategic recommendations. May serve as liaison for industry partnerships or as a representative for Mayo Clinic in national industry events. Ensures communication between and among business proponents, stakeholders and Leadership regarding assignments. Leads or contributes to the improvement of established guidelines, tools, templates and methodologies. Demonstrates effective group facilitation, team building and conflict resolution skills. Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program. **Qualifications** Bachelor’s degree with 5 years technology or business administration experience, OR Associates degree with 7 years technology or business administration experience. Other qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Management or related field preferred. Excellent communication, organization, problem solving and facilitation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills including conflict resolution. Demonstrated history of continuing education in personnel and administrative processes. Strong understanding of financial concepts, business process, continuous improvement and organizational development. Demonstrated mastery of all requirements detailed in the Systems Analyst job description. Experience working in healthcare technology. Experience with committee and consensus driven organizations.
