Job Title: Senior IT Project Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA (Will consider applicants in Frisco, TX)

Overview:
Reporting to the Executive Director of PMO and/or Program manager, the role of Project Manager is to scope, plan and deliver projects and initiatives to meet specified business needs, controlling resources from several areas (and potentially third parties) to achieve agreed cost, time and quality objectives. The Project Manager has the overall accountability and responsibility for the progress and successful delivery of the project effort.

Responsible for scoping, planning, and delivering projects to meet business needsLead complex IT projects and ensure successful delivery while collaborating with various teamsPossess strong and effective communication skillsManage project scope, budget, and resources effectivelyProactively mitigate risks and resolve project-related issuesCoordinate project teams and deliverablesEnsure alignment with organizational goalsDirect design and development of applications, networks, or databasesLead the development of global solutions through in-depth program evaluationEffective communication skills to articulate technical information to project teams and executive level personnelProblem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve project-related issuesRefining resource, cost and duration estimates as the project progresses, ensuring that requests for resources for each phase are supplied sufficiently early to enable them to be secured when needed. Managing proposed changes in scope, schedule or budget with key stakeholders relaying any impact to cost, schedule or scope and providing a recommended course of action. Scheduling, managing and participating in key quality reviews and developing action plans to resolve issues arising.Ensuring a clean, structured and fully supported transition to BAU. Providing out of hours cover over implementation weekends when Project goes liveObtaining approval from the sponsor that the acceptance criteria have been met. Confirming that the project’s objectives have been achieved and that all outstanding risks and issues have been accepted by the sponsor.Performing comparisons of estimated and actual costs and completing financial closeout. Facilitating the project evaluation and obtaining approval to close out the project, documented within end project reportMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical disciplineSignificant proven Project Management experience (7+ years) in an Agile environmentMastery of IT project managementDeep understanding of IT strategy and planning, including program financial conceptsUnderstanding of advanced IT performance metricsHistory of matrix-managing others for the successful completion of a medium to large projects ($5M+ budget). Having managed full lifecycle projects with inter-dependent or direct resourcesAbility to communicate and work effectively with a global team from all regions of the world (cultural, language, timezone diversity)Fluency in technology tools (SharePoint, JIRA, MS Office)Strong time management disciplineAbility to work well in a team environment & fast paced environmentTime management skills to prioritize tasks effectivelyAttention to detail to ensure accuracy in project documentation and reportingPreferred Qualifications
Experience managing large IT programs in a Hardware and Software Services environmentAdaptability to learn new project management tools and methodologiesExperience in at least one of the following areas strongly preferred: Regulatory, Compliance, ATM/Payment Solutions#LI-AD1
