Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Sr IT Analyst for a six-month contract-to-hire opportunity that will sit 100% onsite in Bloomington, IN. This Analyst will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for IT systems/hardware and supporting infrastructure used within a laboratory environment. They will be working closely with Laboratory teams to troubleshoot issues, implement new technologies, and maintain system security/integrity. This IT Analyst will be 'on-call' 24/7 in a weekly rotation with other members of the team. Other Responsibilities Include: Respond to on-call support requests and participate in after-hours support as needed. Ensure timely communication with stakeholders regarding system status, issues, and resolutions. Execute short- and long-term work plans, supporting delegation of work. Ensure adherence to the organizations security policies and procedures. Collaborate with external vendors, service providers to ensure the delivery of quality IT services and support. Interact regularly with internal customers to understand their business and to anticipate needed IT solutions. Participate in the research, analysis, selection, architecture and implementation of new tools, technologies and/or services. Provide training for Laboratory staff on best practices related to IT processes and procedures. Ensure data security and confidentiality by implementing IT security protocols, including access controls, backup strategies, and system monitoring. Support Laboratory change management processes and procedures in alignment with global change processes Provide key expertise and leadership in the areas of servers, operating systems, virtual servers, storage, cloud servers, network, security, low voltage wiring, desktop OS, desktop hardware, printers, scan guns, label printers, and IT security in the support of plant and Laboratory objectives. Assist with the management and support of laboratory databases, ensuring data integrity and proper backup procedures. Monitor, manage, and resolve ServiceNow tickets, including incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to service-level agreements.
