DESCRIPTION
As a Senior HR Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll contribute meaningfully while enabling our mission to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. Working as a strategic partner, you'll translate business strategy into innovative HR solutions that build organizational capabilities and drive results. You'll partner with leaders to attract, develop and retain talent while fostering an engaging culture built on our 4i values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement.

In this role, you'll provide comprehensive HR leadership across talent management, organizational development, employee relations, compensation, and engagement initiatives. You'll analyze workforce data to develop insights that inform strategic decisions and guide organizational change efforts. As a subject matter expert in HR policies and processes, you'll advise leaders while ensuring alignment of HR programs with business objectives. You'll work effectively across a global matrix organization, building strong relationships and implementing enterprise-wide initiatives.

LOCATION: On-site in Waltham, MA. Relocation assistance is NOT provided.

REQUIREMENTS

Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in progressive HR experience in global, matrix organizationsPreferred Fields of Study: Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related fieldPHR/SPHR certification desirableStrong business acumen and ability to translate strategy into actionable HR solutionsExperience leading organizational change and development initiativesExpertise in talent management, performance management, compensation and employee relationsAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to derive insights from HR dataExcellent consulting, influencing and relationship building capabilities at all levelsStrong project management skills and ability to manage multiple complex initiativesOutstanding communication and presentation abilitiesExperience advising and developing leadersAbility to make decisions with limited information and adapt to changeProficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office suiteExperience partnering with works councils/unions where applicableFluency in English required; additional language skills valued for international rolesAbility to travel 10-25% as neededKnowledge of relevant employment laws and regulationsDemonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $135,000.00–$190,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
