We're looking for an FEE who is self-driven, scrappy, autonomous (can unblock themselves), demonstrated curiosity and AI experimentation, and are excited about spending most of their time writing code. We're prioritizing experience with: - 5+ years building production web applications using a TypeScript-based framework (React preferred) - Expertise in modern frontend architecture patterns, state management, and component-based design - Experience with design system implementation and component libraries (Cloudscape experience highly preferred) - Understanding of real-time data flows, streaming APIs, and dynamic content rendering - Experience with performance optimization for high-frequency UI updates and complex state changes - Knowledge of accessibility standards and internationalization best practices - AWS service launch / production operational experience desired. Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience - 5+ years of front-end developer creating prototypes or wire-frames for enterprise web applications or workflows experience - Experience developing with MVC/MVM frameworks (e.g. React.JS, AngularJS, Vue) Preferred Qualifications - Knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST - Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
