Responsible for managing activities of the financial planning & analysis process within the environment of expenditure and P&L support, aiming to provide control to the management team, relevant information and support with analysis that improves the financial performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor and control expenditures, ensuring accurate financial recognition and timely identification of outliers to sustain healthy margins. Support expense forecasting and budgeting activities, incorporating historic trends, seasonality, and business drivers.Develop, enhance, and maintain financial forecasting models to anticipate company expenses and overall P&L performance. Factor in key variables such as exchange rates, currency, headcount, allocations, and relevant KPIs. Collaborate closely with business teams to enable accurate forecasting and planning. Participate in the implementation, as necessary, of new budgeting, reporting and analytical tools.Execute month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including document preparation, reclassifications, accruals, deferrals, and detailed variance analysis. Partner with financial and accounting teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of reporting.Gain comprehensive understanding of the nature of expenses, including their accounting treatment, contractual terms, currency, responsible parties, recurrence, and impact on business performance. Contribute to broader P&L analysis to support strategic decision-making.Drive cost-saving initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and spend gaps, promoting corrective actions, and tracking execution to improve financial outcomes. Prepare and support bottoms-up quarterly forecasts aligned with business objectives.Support general FP&A activities including reporting and data analytics. Operate effectively within a matrixed organization, collaborating across multiple business and support functions. Assist in establishing and maintaining policies and procedures for Expense team.Work effectively across a matrixed organization, establishing strong working relationships across various business and support functions to ensure alignment and collaboration.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
