Sr Financial Analyst
Job Summary:

Walt Disney Imagineering is the master planning, creative development, design, engineering, production, project management, and research and development arm of The Walt Disney Company. Its dedicated corps of Imagineers are responsible for the creation - from concept initiation through installation - of all Disney Resorts, theme parks and attractions, real estate developments, cruise ships, regional entertainment venues, and new media projects. This team brings the magic to life!

As a Senior Financial Analyst on the WDI Finance team, you will help support the ideation, design, production, and construction of projects within the WDI organization – specifically the Research & Development (R&D) team.

Responsibilities:

Develop and coordinate key financial processes (Annual Operating Plan, Long Range Plan, Monthly Forecasts) with the WDI R&D teamPrepare budgets and perform financial sensitivity analyses where appropriateAnalyze actual financial results and/or prospective new business proposalsBuild financial models and other tools to analyze key performance indicators and perform ad hoc analysesPrepare comprehensive business reviews and updates to Executive-level audiences on a timely basisDrive efficiencies through process improvements, including constant updates, revisions of financial models, templates, and planning processes.

Basic Qualifications:

2+ years of Financial Planning & Analysis work experienceStrong organizational skills and attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in MS applications, especially Excel and PowerPointUnderstanding of balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow driversAble to take directions and inputs from partners locally and remotelyWillingness to take on initiatives and learn new systems and applications

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior Walt Disney Company or R&D finance experience preferredPrior experience with SAP and Power BI or Tableau preferred

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $103,400 to $126,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
