Sr Financial Analyst

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A, where you will play a pivotal role supporting Global Supply Chain’s “GSC” capital investment process and strategy.  Reporting to the Manager of GSC FP&A, this highly visible role interfaces regularly with the GSC Leadership team, Corporate Planning & Analysis and Treasury. 

In this role, you will provide in-depth financial analysis and reporting to help the function deliver on performance objectives.  The role will also be responsible for the overall capital control process execution as well as providing support to engineering and operational leaders for strategic decision making as it relates to capital investments.  A successful candidate will bring an experience combination of financial analytical ability and critical thinking across multiple financial areas.

What You Will Do:

Lead the annual capital planning and forecast processes in collaboration with engineering and operating teamsProvide accurate and timely reporting on historical trends, actual results, including information on key financial KPIs that inform and drive better behaviors and performance in capital execution.Responsible for reviews of capital progress and cost engineering expenses related to Capital with regional leadersComplete monthly and quarterly financial analysis to understand performance drives by project and marketInvestigate and communicate detailed drivers of operations performance and spending across GSCInteracts regularly with the regional engineering leads to review and ensure capital results and agreed to cash flow expenses are in line with projections/expectationsCapital policy expert for GSC and ensure that control requirements are appropriately executedPartner with Treasury and Corporate Planning & Analysis to understand quarterly and annual cash flow targetsUnderstand the overall process across stakeholder groups and identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting and efficiencyThis person will be the primary owner for our capital process system and will work with stakeholders to develop improvements and streamline the capital process

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field3 years of finance and/or accounting experienceUnderstands and adheres to policiesAbility to work effectively in a matrix organization and work with various stakeholders globallyStrong computer literacy in Excel, BI and SAPSkilled communicator, both verbally and in writingEffectively manages competing priorities
