**What You’ll Be Doing:**
**Job Summary**
The Senior Engineer, Tech Reporting is a seasoned professional responsible for designing, implementing, and managing advanced technical reporting solutions to provide actionable insights into system performance, operational metrics, and business processes. This role involves leading complex reporting projects, analyzing data to drive improvements, and mentoring team members while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals.
**Essential Functions**
• Advanced Reporting Development: Design and implement dashboards, visualizations, and automated reporting solutions using tools like Power BI.
• Data Management & Analysis: Extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and cloud platforms. Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity across all reporting systems. Conduct in-depth analysis of complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Help define key performance indicators (KPIs) for technical and operational processes. Proactively identify inefficiencies or potential risks and recommend solutions to optimize performance.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with technical teams (e.g., IT, Engineering) and business stakeholders to gather requirements and align reporting solutions with organizational goals. Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and impactful manner.
• System Integration & Automation: Design and maintain ETL pipelines to integrate data from diverse sources into centralized reporting systems. Automate recurring reporting processes to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and analysts. Act as a subject matter expert for reporting tools, techniques, and best practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate existing reporting systems and recommend enhancements to improve usability, scalability, and performance. Stay updated on emerging tools, technologies, and trends in reporting and analytics.
**Required Qualifications**
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI). Advanced SQL skills for querying and managing large datasets. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data processing and analysis. Strong
understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and data pipeline design.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex datasets and deliver actionable insights.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Leadership capabilities to mentor team members and drive project success.
**Preferred Qualifications**
• Experience with monitoring tools and knowledge of IT performance metrics.
• Familiarity with EDI and healthcare data. Experience with predictive analytics, statistical modeling, or machine learning is a plus.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while meeting tight deadlines.
**Preferred Education**
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in technical reporting, data analytics, or a similar role.
**Preferred Certifications**
• Power BI Data Analyst
• SQL certification

**Mandatory Requirements:**
Employees must have a high-speed broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of **50 Mbps** and the ability to set up a wired connection to their home network to ensure effective remote work. These requirements may be updated as needed by the business.
