Sr Electrical Engineer

Responsible for electrical engineering design, analysis, and coordination for large industrial projects in oil, gas, refining, and petrochemical facilities.

Requirements

B.S. in Electrical Engineering

Experience specifying LV and MV transformers, switchgear, motor controls, and variable frequency drives

Proficiency in industrial power system analysis using SKM tools or equivalent software

Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) and API standards, including hazardous location classifications

Electrical substation design experience (preferred)

Preferred Skills

Experience in midstream gas processing, petroleum refining, petrochemical, and upstream oil & gas industries

Responsibilities

Provide direction and coordination of electrical engineering activities on large industrial projects

Apply design knowledge in medium- and low-voltage power distribution, grounding, lighting, motor control, and equipment specification/selection

Conduct power studies including load flow, short circuit, relay coordination, motor starting, and arc flash analysis

Prepare detailed design deliverables including:

Power cable schedules

Cable tray and duct bank design

One-line diagrams

Grounding and lighting plans

Motor schematics

UPS and MCC specifications

Control panel and junction box designs

Transformer specifications

Arc-flash studies

Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, project managers, equipment suppliers, and clients



Pay Details: $42.00 to $57.00 per hour
