You’ll identify project issues, collaborate with engineering and construction teams, and create supporting documentation, all while working to meet project deadlines effectively. **Connecting you to great benefits** + Weekly Paychecks + Paid Time Off, Parental Leave, and Holidays + Insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance) + 401(k) w/ Company Match + Stock Purchase Plan + Education Reimbursement + Legal Insurance + Discounts on gym memberships, pet insurance, and much more! **What you’ll do** + Participate on project teams and ensure compliance with predetermined project deliverables + Identify and course correct project issues and risks, participate in response plans to resolve issues + Create new Outside Plant (OSP) network designs in various applications/software + Develop and issue work prints for OSP Telecom networks + Work with Engineering and Construction departments and coordinate with permitting agencies + Create documentation and reporting to support the work package, ie: bill of materials, labor quantities, etc. + Ensure facility designs follow company standards and comply with the requirements of local, state and federal regulations, which may include Rural Utilities Service (RUS) + Provide any documentation required for the cost-effective placement of communication facilities + Meet project deadlines and successfully complete tasks under tight timelines + Other duties as assigned **What you’ll need** + To be 18 years of age or older + Authorization to work in the United States for this company + High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or at least four years of telecommunications OSP Design/Engineering Experience is required + Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred + Expertise in a drafting software such as AutoCAD is required **Knowledge of** + Telecommunications industry standards + Regulations for OSP facilities + Aerial, buried and underground construction methods and engineering requirements + Fiber to the Home and Fiber to the Building + Government permit requirements + OSP Communications Design systems + Applications such as NDS, FROGS, Fireworks, Bidmaster, Infinium and/or Varasset + Fiber optic counts, fiber assignments and splicing schematics in a high-density fiber environment **Physical abilities & exposures** + **Routinely** : Work alone in remote locations, use keyboard and mouse + **Occasionally** : Operate vehicle, climb stairs, stand, walk **Why grow your career with us** Your career here is more than just a job — it's your pathway to opportunity.
