**Role Purpose**
The Sr Director, Strategy, Business & Operations (SBO) leads the regional strategic alignment and operational excellence agenda across EEMEA . This role steers the strategic roadmap, drives cross-functional collaboration, ensures operational discipline, and enables agile market expansion in a highly dynamic geopolitical and competitive environment.
**How you will make an impact:**
**1. Strategic Alignment & Insights**
+ Define and execute regional strategic priorities aligned with global direction.
+ Lead annual/quarterly planning cycles (Strat Plan, AOP, QBR).
+ Drive data‑based decision-making through forecasting, analytics, and market intelligence.
+ Develop predictive models for market trends, therapy adoption, and revenue.
+ Partner with country leaders to ensure customer- and market‑centric strategies.
**2. Operational Excellence**
+ Optimize processes, tools, and systems to improve regional efficiency.
+ Lead SFDC strategy, data integration, and adoption.
+ Oversee performance dashboards, governance cycles (FCS, AOP), and continuous improvement.
+ Ensure consistent deployment of global and regional initiatives.
**3. Distributor & Channel Performance**
+ Strengthen distributor market performance and accountability.
+ Lead distributor strategy, segmentation, scorecards, and investment frameworks.
+ Support pricing, contracting, rebates, and commercial policy governance.
+ Manage distributor forums and engagement with regional GMs.
**4. Market Expansion & GTM Evolution**
+ Drive new market entry, business model evolution, and GTM agility.
+ Lead change management for GTM transformation.
+ Identify growth opportunities and support local execution.
+ Partner with therapy and marketing teams to reinforce Edwards differentiation.
**5. Cross-Functional Leadership & PMO**
+ Lead the central PMO to prioritize and deliver regional initiatives.
+ Oversee teams including Strategy & Analytics, BI, Commercial Ops, Distributor Management, GTM, and Customer Care coordination.
+ Foster strong collaboration with commercial, finance, supply chain, HR, and global partners.
+ Mentor and develop a diverse regional team.

**What you'll need (Required):**
+ Strong SHD leadership with ability to broaden customer engagement.
+ High agility and execution speed in volatile environments.
+ Ability to turn strategy into actionable, scalable operations.
+ Skilled at balancing central governance with local market needs.
+ Excellence in insights generation, process improvement, and cross‑functional alignment.
**What else we look for (Preferred):**
+ 10–15+ years in strategy, business operations, commercial excellence, or similar functions in MedTech/Life Sciences.
+ Experience leading across complex, multi‑country regions (EEMEA preferred).
+ Proven success in transformation, GTM evolution, or distributor models.
+ Strong stakeholder management, communication, and project governance skills.
+ Experience leading diverse senior teams.
