The Digital Wealth Platform Reporting team is responsible for digital wealth platform services that align to the Schwab Wealth and Advice Solutions and Retail brokerage strategic objectives. Our product management team works in collaboration with other internal groups to drive and support business strategy, product management and process improvement, and technical platform solutions for Schwab’s digital investment performance reporting experiences. Our mandate is to design and optimize the combination of services, products, and tools to deliver an experience that exceeds clients’ and Schwab advisor expectations. To do this, we collaborate with partners and delivery organizations to ensure key processes / interactions are designed and executed smoothly. We also manage tradeoff decisions and priorities to enhance the overall solution services that power the client experiences and the investment performance information relied upon by Schwab advisors, clients, and internal teams.

 

Brief Description of the Role:

 

The Performance Reporting Platform Product Manager (individual contributor) will be responsible for defining and driving features as part of a team managing an enterprise-wide Performance Reporting Platform. As a member of this team, you will help with organizing and managing the intake and prioritization of features for a Scrum team and serve as SME and business representative for the team. The ideal candidate will have strong Agile product experience, as well as prior experience with personal finance and investment portfolio management solutions. 

What you are good atYou will be responsible for contributing to the product vision and the technical execution for digital performance reporting platform solutions, which power experiences for clients and internal stakeholders.You will translate the product vision into specific deliverables and ensure rigor in execution and attention to detail by effectively managing a product feature backlog.You will create lean business cases, as well as craft and refine product requirements for the features and capabilities you manage.You will become the Subject Matter Expert for your features, for the development team and our stakeholders.You will use OKRs to get results for our clients, firm, and team.You will support iterative testing and ongoing improvement of the client and internal stakeholder experience.You will lead the generation of new ideas based on data, analytics, insights, market trends, and interactions with partners, clients, and prospects.You will champion Agile methodologies, leading and participating in the product owner activities including daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, backlog prioritization, user story preparation and demos.You will work cross-functionally and horizontally with technical, design, business, operations, and compliance counterparts to define product release requirements and issue management.You will work collaboratively with product management and technical teams from across the Schwab enterprise, through effective use of problem solving and communication skills. Required Qualifications:

5+years digital product manager/owner experience, or equivalent experience on an Agile Scrum teamStrategic and effective problem solver with the ability to formulate compelling vision and strategy and translate that outcome into substantial roadmaps and resultsStrong knowledge base and experience developing or leading digital experiences, coupled with knowledge of the underlying technology, both current and emergingGood understanding and/or experience with investment performance measurementAbility to influence and build strong relationships across multiple levels of the organizationHighly developed communication and presentations skills with a superior ability to effectively communicate and present complex concepts and issues to leadership teamsSkilled at working cross-functionally with technology, service, operations, marketing, and product teams to lead the entire lifecycle of the experiences

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience as an Agile Product Owner or leading scrum teams is preferred, with a deep understanding of agileCuriosity, a can-do attitude, and the ability to learn quickly and thrive in a complex, dynamic environmentSelf-starter with outstanding organizational skills and ability to track multiple project deliverables with minimal directionCIPM CertificationInvestment Foundation Certificate 

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
