Job Summary

The Sr DFM Engineer will be based in Shenzhen.

What a typical day looks like:

Develop and implement DFM guideline and standard to ensure new products are suitable for manufacture

DFM(PCB/PCBA/Assembly/Automation) design issues check and provide feedback/proposal to RD team for design improvement

3D DFM review and critical dimension tolerance analysis

NPI build Summary report and product stage performance review

DFX review meeting with RD and cross function team

DFx issues correct action follow up, verification and close

Lesson learnt data base collect, publish, maintain

New component package creation checking when layout team request.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical/Mechanical etc.

Good English listening, writing & speaking.

At least 5 years’ experience of DFM for PCBA and box build.

Familiar with SMT, PCBA, wave soldering etc. electronic manufacturing process

Familiar with IPC standard, electronic product design guideline

Proficient in tolerance stack-up analysis

Professional, organized, teamwork, flexible, passionate and self – motivated

Experience of using VALOR,CAM350, CAD software is plus

High power (PSU/BBU/Power shelf) experience is plus.
