As a Sr. Business Development Manager for Data Centers, within Honeywell’s Building Automation (BA) business, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating our growth and expanding our presence in the Data Center market.
You will be responsible for assessing and understanding the data center market; developing and executing a business development strategy and ultimately identifying and influencing business opportunities for all of Honeywell Building Automation offerings.
**Your ability to drive a thought leadership position and obtain results will be critical to success in this role.**
**KEY AREAS OF REPONSIBILITY**
+ Design and execute strategies that target growth opportunities in the data center market
+ Actively hunt for new business opportunities; leveraging market insights, customer data, and networking to identify and capture future growth potential.
+ Build and maintain strong, future-oriented relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders at all levels
+ Work closely with marketing, offering management, and local sales teams to ensure that all sales efforts are aligned with customer needs, market trends, and Honeywell’s full suite of BA offerings (BMS, Security, Fire, etc.).
+ Collaborate with the regional Marketing team to develop and promote content and campaigns that create awareness and demand for Honeywell’s BA products
+ Develop and expand demand generation activities with strategic partners and distributors that have a complementary focus on BA solutions, driving mutual business growth.
**QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE**
+ Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field
+ Formal sales training
+ 7+ years of experience in strategic sales or business development roles
+ Experience and proven commercial track record in the ANZ Data Centre market
+ Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
+ Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
+ Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
+ Experience in building automation solutions preferred but not essential
