JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and coordination of software releases across multiple teams, ensuring smooth and efficient deployments with minimal disruption to operations. Acts as a servant leader and coach for Agile Release Trains (ARTs), facilitating cross-team collaboration and driving continuous improvement. Advanced leadership, technical, and process management skills. Collaborates with development, QA, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure successful value delivery.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experienceAssigned complex and critical software delivery projects that involve multiple technical systems and stakeholdersDevelops and maintains comprehensive release plans, schedules release windows, and manages dependencies between different components and systemsFacilitates and organizes key ART events including Program Increment (PI) Planning, ensuring alignment and collaboration among teamsOversees the deployment process, ensuring releases are executed according to plan and production environments remain stableIdentifies, assesses, and mitigates risks associated with releases, including potential issues with code, infrastructure, or dependenciesCoaches and mentors teams on Agile principles and practices, helping them improve performance and collaborationFacilitates communication and collaboration between development, QA, operations, and other relevant teams throughout the release lifecycleEnsures releases meet quality standards and that testing is completed effectivelyCreates and maintains release documentation, including release notes, deployment plans, and rollback proceduresProvides regular updates on release progress to stakeholders, including development teams, operations teams, and managementContinuously evaluates and improves the release management process to optimize efficiency and reduce risksTracks release metrics and performance data to identify areas for improvement and ensure processes run smoothlySupports Lean-Agile transformation by coaching leaders and teams across the organizationAdheres to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicableKnows, understands and follows company policyREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced understanding of Agile and SAFe methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and the Scaled Agile FrameworkAdvanced knowledge of software development lifecycles, release management processes, and CI/CD pipelinesAdvanced project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and risk managementExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with different teams and stakeholdersAdvanced problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills to identify and resolve issues related to releasesAdvanced analytical skills to analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement in release processesLeadership and coaching abilities to lead and motivate teams towards successful releasesAdvanced stakeholder management skills to effectively manage relationships with various stakeholdersAbility to perform duties in a fast-paced environment and ability to adapt to changing technologies and methodologiesAbility to use personal computer and software applications including release management and project managementEducation

The base pay for this position generally is between $100,600.00 and $196,400.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
