ADP Global Payroll is seeking a Senior Data Insights Consultant to join our Global Payroll Business Analytics Office within the Business Excellence and Transformation department.
This strategic role serves as the analytical backbone of our organization, designing scalable analytics solutions, driving semantic modeling standards, and ensuring calculation consistency across platforms. The role delivers actionable insights that enable leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions and elevate operational excellence.
What are we looking for?
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain robust BI datasets, semantic models, and dashboards used by operations and transformation Define and implement standardized measurement logic (KPIs, calculation rules, definitions) to ensure consistency across dashboards, platforms, and business teams. Establish data quality controls including reconciliation checks, automate validation logic and exception handling workflows Monitor and coordinate data dependencies with ESI and upstream data owner including, access, gateways, refresh reliability and data quality requirements Develop and execute analytics support models across the analytics ecosystem, including ongoing BAU operations, enhancement initiatives of both in-house Global Payroll and ESI Data platform Deliver advanced analytics such as regression-based driver analysis, customer/time-to-resolution segmentation, clustering, and anomaly detection to support root cause analysis and operations improvement. Build dashboards and visualizations in Power BI that clearly communicate insights, operational performance, and trend risks. Document analytics methodologies, assumptions, and validation processes to ensure reproducibility. Mentor the junior team through design and model review, analysis and solution development.
To succeed in this role:
5+ years of progressive experience in BI development, Data Insights, or Analytics Consulting with proven track record delivering measurable business impact Demonstrated experience delivering applied analytics (e.g. regression driver analysis, segmentation/clustering) with measurable business impact Strong foundation in data engineering concepts and semantic modeling best practices Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, transformation teams, and technical partners to align measurement calculations and data governance Proficiency in Power BI for building impactful dashboards and visualizations that clearly communicate insights Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Databricks, and AWS; familiarity with Microsoft Process Mining tools is a plus Strong diagnostic mindset, able to identify root causes of data inconsistencies and drive corrective actions Bachelor’s degree in quantitative discipline (statistics, math, economics, data science) preferred; master’s degree or advanced certifications are a plus A continuous learning mindset and enthusiasm for solving complex data challengesA little about ADP: We are a comprehensive global provider of cloud-based human capital management (HCM) solutions that unite HR, payroll, talent, time, tax and benefits administration and a leader in business outsourcing services, analytics, and compliance expertise.
