Expected salary range of $113,400 to $126,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). **PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION** The Sr Data Governance Analyst (Transformation) will serve as the primary business-facing resource within the Digital Transformation Office, responsible for driving enterprise-aligned data stewardship, data ownership, and data quality practices within a transformation-focused domain. This position represents business data needs, risks, and partners closely with Sales, Product, Legal, IT, and maintains close coordination with the Enterprise Data Governance Office (EDGO). The role ensures that business data supports enterprise strategy, regulatory requirements, and operational goals through effective data governance practices. This position performs responsibilities aligned with Business Data Owner functions, including accountability for business-critical data decisions, application of approved data governance policies, and oversight of domain-level data stewardship activities. These responsibilities are executed in collaboration with the Enterprise Data Governance Office (EDGO) and in accordance with Constellation's enterprise data governance framework. This role does not report into the Enterprise Data Governance Office (EDGO) but will maintain a close partnership to ensure that domain data stewardship and data governance responsibilities are executed in alignment with Constellation's enterprise-wide policies, accountability framework, and data governance goals. This position serves as a domain-level business accountability role and does not participate in enterprise policy authorship, enterprise-wide governance design, or system administration owned by the Enterprise Data Governance Office (EDGO) or IT. **PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES** + Prioritize domain-relevant data subdomains and critical data elements (CDEs) based on business objectives and transformation needs. + Define and validate authoritative data sources and ensure alignment between data source systems and data consumers. + Escalate and sponsor resolution of key data risks, including data quality issues, data duplication, and metadata gaps that impact operations, analytics, or regulatory reporting. + Guide the definition of critical data elements (CDEs) and business rules to enable consistent, scalable, and AI-ready data assets. + Identify and drive opportunities for data enrichment, de-duplication, and quality improvement. + Contribute to data governance policy discussions and provide domain-specific input to the Enterprise Data Governance Office (EDGO), who owns data governance policy development and enterprise-level approval. + Validate and support implementation of data ownership models and data stewardship assignments. + Champion adherence to data classification, retention, and access control policies for business-critical datasets. + Align with the Enterprise Data Governance Office (EDGO) to ensure consistency with enterprise data governance policy frameworks, data governance roadmaps, and standards. + Partner with the Enterprise Data Governance Office (EDGO) and IT to operationalize policies through technical configurations in enterprise systems, including data catalog, classification, and access models. + Represent domain data concerns during risk assessments, business continuity planning, and system audits. + Analyze business impact of policy exceptions, metadata deficiencies, or data access risks. + Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Enterprise Data Governance Office (EDGO), and Security teams to support regulatory alignment (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX) and audit readiness. + Track, report, and escalate data risks, unresolved exceptions, and data quality KPIs to data governance councils and transformation leadership. + Collaborate with business SMEs, legal, cybersecurity, and platform/application owners on domain-specific data priorities and remediation needs. + Advocate for resourcing, staffing, and investment in data stewardship, backlog reduction, and metadata enrichment. + Serve as the domain's primary business representative within data governance forums and contribute to enterprise data governance councils and working groups as engaged by the Enterprise Data Governance Office (EDGO). + Mentor junior analysts or data stewards and lead backlog triage efforts. + Coordinate across transformation, IT, and the Enterprise Data Governance Office (EDGO) teams to ensure adoption of data standards and accountability models. + Ensure domain-level data governance activities are communicated, tracked, and aligned with enterprise data governance maturity goals. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** + Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business Administration + 6-years of experience in sales operations, business operations, or business data management + Demonstrates cross functional and cross business unit influence + Experience working with enterprise systems and metadata repositories (e.g., Salesforce, ERP, CRM, etc.) + Strong understanding of metadata, data quality, data stewardship, data classification, and data lifecycle + Ability to represent business needs in technical and data governance forums **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** + Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or Data Strategy + Experience working in federated data governance models or transformation programs + Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Alation, or similar platforms + Experience participating in data governance councils or steering committees + Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SOX, HIPAA) + Exposure to AI/ML use cases, enrichment services, or business transformation projects Constellation is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and employees or applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to: age, color, disability, gender, national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, protected veteran status, or any other classification protected by federal, state, or local law.
