The Service Delivery enablement (SDE) team within TES services, develops comprehensive service delivery strategies through data, insights & product for our Service Centers all to fulfil our purpose to elevate the team member, guest, and partner experience.
A role with the TES BI and Analytics team means being part of the team that enables faster, smarter and scalable decision-making to compete and win the modern retail market. You will leverage data, statistics and visualization to create the actionable insights that deliver value for our Service Center capabilities. Our savvy reporting and analytics experts use market-leading tools and data automation to make a positive impact that’s felt across the business. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Sr. Data Analyst, you’ll be part of a team of analysts supporting TES through active exploration of data & technologies enabling meaningful actionable business insights.
As a Sr. Data Analyst in BI & Analytics, you’ll take the lead as you:
> Develop a thorough understanding of TES processes, products, and data
> Determine the best approach to gather, manipulate, analyse, and present data
> Develop & publish reporting, analytics, project & remediation support, research, and support of business initiatives
> Apply insights and testing in partnership with business users
> Improve overall efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving strategic work forward
> Document calculations and code, adhering to data management principles
> Validate and test data assets of others in the form of peer review
> Continuously upskill to stay current with new technologies in the industry via formal training, peer training groups and self-directed education
> Participate actively in team meetings
About you
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in IT or other analytic discipline, or equivalent experience (Computer Science/ Engineering)
> 6-10 years of overall industry experience Strong problem solving and analytical skills . Ability to decipher ambiguous business problems & translate to analytical solutions.
> Proficient with SQL & Python. Exposure and extensive hands-on work with large data sets.
> Experience using reporting, visualizations, and analytical tools to build insights, communicate findings, and deliver actionable business solutions to stakeholders.
> Hands on experience in advanced statistical / analytical techniques like Regression, Time-series models, Classification Techniques, Pattern analysis etc. and conceptual understanding of all the techniques mentioned above
> Effective written and verbal communication skills – ability to translate and present complex data using clear, understandable reports and visualizations to business and technical audiences.
> Experience working in the agile environment (stories, backlog refinement, etc.)
> Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency to be able to work both independently and in team settings in a fast-paced environment; capability to manage urgency timelines
> Competent and curious to ask questions and learn to fill gaps, desire to teach and learn.
> Strong attention to detail, excellent diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
> Service orientated and strong relationship building skills
> Preferred : Experience with Product Life cycle Management, Vision/ Strategy, Roadmap development, Value articulation, Prioritization, Stakeholder management, Product best practises
