What Inventory Mgmt contributes to Cardinal Health

Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.

Job Summary

The Senior Coordinator, Inventory Management for DSCA Process, analyzes existing inventory and resolves inbound discrepancies to drive the operational efficiency of pharmacy warehouse operations. The Senior Coordinator validates inbound shipments, places electronic orders, creates standard inventory reports and forecasts, and leads regular cycle counts. By ensuring the quality and efficiency of inventory management, this job contributes to customer satisfaction and minimizing the facility’s expenses.

Accountabilities

Receive and verify inbound merchandise by checking packing slips against purchase orders, entering product data into the system, and releasing items for use while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to product serialization and traceability. Provide support to the Track & Trace area to manage increased volumes of merchandise not received, ensuring timely case processing to avoid delays in receiving and customer order fulfillment.Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers to coordinate orders, clarify discrepancies and manage returns or quarantined products, ensuring alignment with contracts and client requirements.Setting up and maintaining systems for serialization, verification, and traceability across the supply chain. Support backorder and replacement tracking by monitoring inbound shipments and ensuring timely processing to maintain inventory flow and service levels.Perform physical tasks as needed, including lifting to 40 lbs, to support warehouse operations and ensure smooth logistics and inventory handling.Working with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure smooth operations and compliance

Qualifications

HS Diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience is preferred.2-4 years’ experience in a related field is preferred.Experience in an Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) is preferred.Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel is required.Bilingual (English and Spanish) Written and Verbal is required.Work Schedule Monday to Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm
