DESCRIPTION:
Join our Legal team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Senior Contracts Attorney supporting our Life Sciences Solutions Group. In this key role, you'll collaborate with Commercial Operations, Strategic Accounts teams, and cross-functional partners to provide high-quality legal guidance and support. You'll facilitate business transactions and handle contract negotiations while working with Product Management, IP, Quality, Regulatory, Procurement, Risk Management, Operations, and Legal Centers of Excellence. Create value by drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, analyzing legal rights and obligations, developing new contractual documents, and delivering legal training programs to internal clients.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree plus strong commercial contracts legal experience, preferably including in-house experience in life sciences or regulated-sector companies
• Preferred Fields of Study: Law
• Active bar membership/legal practice qualification in relevant jurisdiction
• Proven expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial and intellectual property agreements
• Experience advising on legal consequences of contract terms and performing legal rights analysis
• Strong ability to resolve problems of diverse scope and moderate to high complexity
• Demonstrated success in achieving results through collaboration, negotiation, and organizational change
• Experience with contract lifecycle management systems preferred
• Excellence in building collaborative relationships both internally and externally
• Strong time management skills with ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and related electronic tools
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate global colleagues
