As a Senior Commissioning Engineer for Building Automation Systems (BAS) in the data center sector, you will lead the commissioning of complex automation data center projects in Sweden. You will ensure that all BAS components—including HVAC controls, energy management systems, and integrated monitoring platforms—are installed, configured, and tested to meet stringent performance, reliability, and sustainability standards. Review and validate design documentation, control sequences, and integration plans for HVAC, CRAC units, chilled water systems, and other mechanical infrastructure. + Develop and execute commissioning plans, functional test procedures, and system validation protocols. Collaborate with installation teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure proper implementation of control systems. + Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BAS hardware, software, and network communications (e.g., BACnet/IP, Modbus TCP). Document commissioning results, generate punch lists, and oversee corrective actions. + Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for control panels and automation systems. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and commissioning technicians. + Ensure compliance with Swedish building codes, environmental regulations, and EU directives (e.g., Ecodesign, EN 15232). Participate in client handover, training sessions, and post-commissioning support. **Key skills and qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or related field. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in BAS commissioning, preferably within data center or critical infrastructure environments. + Strong understanding of HVAC control strategies, energy efficiency, and fault detection diagnostics. Experience with Honeywell BAS platforms (e.g., Niagara N4). + Familiarity with Swedish standards and regulations (e.g., Boverket, Arbetsmiljöverket). + Fluent in English; Swedish language skills are a plus. Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. + Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) or equivalent. LEED or BREEAM certification knowledge. Niagara AX/N4 TCP Certification.
