Job Summary: Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines in an AWS cloud environment, ensuring the efficient processing and analysis of IoT data to drive value for customers.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 8+ years of experience with cloud data and analytics platforms, preferably AWS (GCP or Azure also acceptable) 5+ years of experience in data and analytics, including SQL, ETL/ELT, data lineage, and data warehousing 3+ years of experience in IT concepts such as integrations, encryption, authentication, batch processing, real-time processing, and CI/CD automation Advanced knowledge of AWS Data Analytics tools such as Glue, Redshift, Lambda, and Kinesis Strong coding skills in Python, Pyspark, Scala, and SQL Experience with data streaming technologies like Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub Knowledge of database management systems, data modeling, and data warehousing best practices Experience in Agile software development and familiarity with DevOps tools and techniques (e.g., CI/CD, Azure DevOps)

Preferred Skills:

Experience with handling unstructured streaming data Knowledge of Business Intelligence Dimensional Modeling, Star Schemas, and Slowly Changing Dimensions Understanding of data governance and security practices

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies for processing and analyzing large volumes of IoT data, ensuring scalability and performance Design, develop, and maintain streaming and batch data pipelines in an AWS cloud environment Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance and scalability Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements and develop solutions to meet their needs Participate in planning and prioritization of development tasks for efficient resource use and timely project delivery Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure data quality and availability Work with the Platform team to ensure secure, reliable, and highly available data analytics infrastructure Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices Capture and document data lineage, metadata, and data dictionaries for comprehensive data governance Continuously research and evaluate new tools and technologies to improve data processing and analytics capabilities Assist with building and maintaining scalable data pipelines closer to real-time processing

Pay Details: $50.00 to $62.00 per hour
