Basic Function
As a SR Client Service and Product Specialist, you will be responsible for and play a crucial role in assisting employers to screen and claim the federal tax credits for their WOTC eligible applicants by ensuring accurate and timely processing of all qualifying applications.
Essential Responsibilities
Prepare and process raw data files of WOTC eligible applications by state and file format; review for accuracy and completeness; update information if necessary and submit to the appropriate State Workforce Agencies (SWA) via state site platforms within 28 days of new hire’s start date. Ensure client WOTC submissions are complete and compliant with IRS, federal, and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines. Follow up on cases from submission to certification and update internal systems to reflect accurate and up to date statuses. Report on WOTC applications’ statuses through regular and ad-hoc reporting, and track progress. Conduct internal audit of associates’ state submissions to ensure accuracy of files and individual records. Conduct new hire pre-screenings via IVR phone line to identify and determine WOTC, state, federal, and local tax credit eligibility.Assist Leadership team with a variety of duties, including monitoring call volume, scheduling, assisting associates with questions/concerns, reporting any technical issues, etc.
Utilize company program (GenCloud) to monitor/evaluate associates’ call interactions and provide feedback on findings.
Non-Essential Responsibilities
Perform other related duties and assignments as directed by management. Maintain and enhance knowledge on statutory changes.Qualifications
Experience: 3-5 years' experience with strong Client Service and WOTC processing knowledge. Complete functional expertise with particular emphasis on researching and PC skills a must to include proficient use of various Windows Applications (e.g. Excel, NotePad, NotePad ++, etc). Previous call center experience is highly encouraged. Excellent oral and written communication skills (Spanish Bilingual is a plus). Ability to follow operating procedures and instructions. Generic Skills: Must be able to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor. Ability to adapt to quickly changing processes/procedures is essential. Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
