Achieve quality response to subpoenas by applying Zenith Best Practices and Chernow and Lieb Best practices to complete the following tasks:
Track and respond to subpoena requests, medical record requests and file and serve requests timely for all the Zenith branches. Determine validity of subpoenas and respond to copy service accordingly. Process incoming subpoenas and prepare records for vetting process. Process file and serve requests for claims staff and records for Lien conference Process medical record requests and provide records to requestor and Supervisor Vet and redact records by removing duplicates, emails, or filler pages like fax cover sheets, etc and using the guidelines from legal on what records should and should not be produced. Determine which documents are attorney client and work product or proprietary information. Process final product and obtain necessary signatures from records manager (if needed) or provide final product to requestor or outside copy service, doctor, or attorney. Communicate with copy service vendor and upload records or prepare for mailing. Prepare Media Requests for Claims and SIU department All tasks for File and Serve, Subpoena, and Medical Records must be complete within specified timeframes. Additionally, it is expected that you will perform any other specially assigned duties/tasks as they arise and complete all diaries within their specified time framesMeasurement:

Respond to requests or inquiries timely and with a sense of urgency, no later than 24 hours from request/inquiry. Interact with customers through proactive and positive communication tailored to meet and exceed their expectations.

Unsolicited feedback from customers identifying service trends Supervisory and Management observations through file reviews Solicited feedback from customers (key accounts/agencies)

Knowledge of Microsoft Office required - possessing basic Word, Excel, and graphics software skills. Must type a minimum of 30 WPM. Work experience demonstrating ability to work effectively and collaboratively as a member of a team. Demonstrates knowledge of assigned work and may possess knowledge of a technical or specialty area. Readily learns and applies new information/concept in area of practice. Specialized skill training/certification/licenses may be required. (Recruiter to confirm at time of posting).
The expected salary range for this position is $38,343.87 - $47,929.84. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job level.
