This position will be responsible for our cement plant quarry in Union Bridge, MD, our largest cement plant in the Northeast. **What You'll Be Doing** + Lead safe and efficient quarry operations aligned with company and regulatory standards + Drive continuous improvement in production, quality, and cost control + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support plant performance and sustainability goals + Manage and develop quarry personnel through coaching and performance feedback in union environment + Oversee equipment maintenance planning and long-term mine planning strategies **What Are We Looking For** + Proven ability to lead teams and foster a culture of safety and accountability + Strong knowledge of quarry operations (cement preferred), mining regulations, and environmental compliance + Skilled in data-driven decision-making and operational optimization + Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments + Competent in using technology and systems to manage operations and reporting + Basic knowledge of chemistry **Work Environment** This role is based at a cement plant and quarry site, requiring regular exposure to outdoor conditions, dust, noise, and large mobile equipment.
