Sr Calibration Technician

**Crane Aerospace and Electronics** has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Technician at our **Lynnwood, WA** location.
**Hours are Monday- Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm**
**Job Summary:**
The Sr Technician performs a wide range of physical and electronic calibrations for test and measurement equipment with minimal supervision. The following responsibilities are typical of what this position maybe required to perform, however they are not all inclusive.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Maintain a working knowledge and adherence to Calibration System (familiar with Z540-1 and ISO17025 is preferred)
+ Calibrate Self-Constructed and COTS equipment in the Cal Lab with minimal supervision
+ Calibrate Self-Constructed and COTS equipment in the Manufacturing area(s), such as ATEs, Temp Chamber, etc. with minimal supervision
+ Perform data entry, create calibration reports, maintain paper and electronic records to verify calibration actions and traceability
+ Process outsourced Calibration Certificates and documents
+ Troubleshoot (read schematics) and resolve calibration issues
+ Identify Out of Tolerance equipment
+ Perform repair of COTS equipment as needed
+ Schedule and prioritizes equipment calibration based on internal/external customer requirements
+ Any other tasks assigned by supervisor or management
**Minimum Qualifications** **:**
+ Experience: 2-4 years of related experience
+ Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Office
+ Skills/Abilities: Ability to set up and operate standard and special purposes test equipment. Ability to read and interpret standards and specifications, schematics and related wiring diagrams. Requires precise hand-eye coordination.
+ **Education/Certification: Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent experience required**
+ **Eligibility Requirement:** This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
**Working Conditions** **:**
+ Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing and Lab environment
+ Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE
+ May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes
+ Flexible and willing to work overtime if necessary
+ Standing: 20% *percentage is approximate and may vary depending on work task
+ Sitting: 80% *percentage is approximate and may vary depending on work task
+ Lifting (in pounds): up to 35 pounds
+ Pushing (in pounds): up to 100 pounds
+ Mental/Visual: Use of computer, calculator, etc.
+ Workspace (line, cube, etc):Clean bench

**_Salary range:_** **$36.26 - $44.04**
Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
