Summary: Seeking an experienced Sr Automation Engineer to develop PLC code for new automated manufacturing cells and collaborate with a technology development group.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in automation/electrical/computer/mechanical/software engineering, or equivalent

10+ years in developing custom automation

Expertise in PLC ecosystems (Rockwell Automation)

Proficiency with Structured Text, Function Block, and Sequential Function Charts

Experience with controls hardware including sensors, remote IO, servos, safety devices, machine vision, barcode readers, HMI

Experience using industrial networking protocols: Modbus, Ethernet TCP/IP

Control logic architecture design & planning

General robot experience

US Citizenship

Preferred Skills:

Master's degree in automation/electrical/computer/mechanical/software engineering, or equivalent

Specific robot experience

Secondary ecosystem - Productivity Suite/Automation Direct

Experienced in OOP (object-oriented programming)

Experienced in using git-based version control

Job Responsibilities:

Develop PLC code for new automated manufacturing cells

Collaborate with Software, IT, AI Dev, and Automation teams to deliver automated systems for manufacturing scaling

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $125,000.00 to $145,000.00 per year
