Job Description:

ResponsibilitiesDeploy, configure, and maintain Azure infrastructure components such as Virtual Machines, networking (VNets, subnets, load balancers), and storage, following best practices.Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) efforts using Terraform or similar tools for routine provisioning tasks.Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or Jenkins for application and infrastructure deployments.Write and maintain scripts (Bash, PowerShell, or Python) to automate routine system administration tasks.Participate in the deployment and management of containers using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).Monitor infrastructure health and performance using tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics and respond to alerts or incidents as needed.Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex issues.Support security and compliance efforts by following established guidelines and processes.Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for team use.Stay current with evolving Azure and infrastructure technologies and participate in internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.3–6 years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, preferably with Azure.Required SkillsSolid hands-on experience working with Azure cloud services (VMs, networking, storage).Proficient in basic Linux system administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, or similar).Experience writing scripts in Bash, PowerShell, or Python for automation.Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.Exposure to containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS).Understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience working with Azure DevOps or Jenkins.Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or similar).Knowledge of security fundamentals (RBAC, certificates, basic compliance).Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Nice to HaveRelevant Azure certification (e.g., Azure Administrator (AZ-104)).Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).Familiarity with on-premises to cloud migration projects.Exposure to additional monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).Basic understanding of Windows Server administration.
