Principal responsibilities

Production Support: 24x7 Production Support to attend system alerts, recovery, and any operational tasks to ensure system reliability and availability Incident Management and Problem Management: Oversee incident response and drive timely resolution and recovery and thus minimise service degrade / outage time. Conduct post incident review for root cause analysis and improvement actions to avoid recurrences. Change Management: Drive proper change management and approval process for all the change requests for the platform, ensuring proper planning and execution of them. Automation, Monitoring and Visualisation: Drive the automation of operational tasks to ensure efficiency, monitoring setup to ensure issues are being detected and handled upfront, and visualisations (e.g. Dashboard) such that system healthiness can be visualised and understood in real time. Capacity Management: Work with platform team closely to ensure the platform is fit for purposes on future demand. Best Practices and Collaboration: Work out best practices on reliability and collaborate closely with platform and capability engineering teams to ensure such best practices are being implemented in development phase to ensure system reliability and availability. Security and Vulnerability: Ensure the platform and system are compliant with relevant control in particular security and vulnerability patching. Continuous Improvement: Identify improvement opportunities and drive the implementation of them to ensure site reliability and availability supported by proper reporting.
