As a Workday HCM Technical Senior Associate, you will support the development, configuration, and maintenance of Workday integrations and related technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with senior team members and business stakeholders to understand requirements and assist in delivering efficient, scalable solutions within the Workday HCM ecosystem.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and configuration of Workday integrations using tools such as Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and Workday Report as a Service (RaaS).
Support unit testing and system integration testing of Workday integrations and configurations.
Help monitor and maintain existing Workday integrations and assist in troubleshooting production issues.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather and clarify integration requirements.
Assist with Workday release updates by supporting impact analysis and testing of integration changes.
Learn and apply Workday HCM module concepts and best practices to support integration development and maintenance.
Develop technical components following coding standards and best practices.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to support iterative development and continuous improvement.
Work effectively within a team environment, supporting multiple tasks with guidance and escalating issues as appropriate.
Key Competencies and Skills:
2-5 years of experience in Workday HCM technical support, integrations, or related HRIS technical roles.
Basic understanding of Workday HCM modules, with eagerness to learn more.
Familiarity with Workday integration tools such as EIB, RaaS, Workday Studio is a plus, but willingness to learn is essential.
Basic knowledge of XML, XSLT, web services (SOAP/REST), and related technologies is desirable.
Understanding of Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
Good communication skills, with the ability to document and share technical information clearly.
Ability to work collaboratively in a virtual, geographically diverse team environment.
Organized and able to manage priorities effectively.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
