Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Sr. Architect to design and deliver efficient technical solutions in furtherance of CVS technical initiatives relating to multiple software applications. Duties include: Provide architectural blueprints and technical leadership to our IT team. Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality software product platform. Responsible for digital transformation and all digital products, as well as the development and execution of the digital roadmap. Partner and collaborate with software development manager, business analysts, architects, quality assurance, business partners, developers, and project managers to deliver change and innovation into our software and user experience. Participate in the entire development life cycle of software product and deliver efficient solution, identifying and mitigating any risks to the product before deployment to production. Design and develop large complex systems, including requirements analysis, estimation, implementation, and testing. Build integrated platform that enables the delivery of products and services that drives engagement and revolutionize health and wellness. Leverage fully cloud-native technology stack that is API driven and utilizes some of the latest technology frameworks (serverless, containerization, microservices). Employ knowledge and expertise in application development, design patterns, and software domains to build disruptive, industry leading cloud platform that will transform the healthcare industry and improve the lives of hundreds of millions of people. Apply specialty in client native applications, interfacing with several disciplines within various business units including UX Design, Product, Engineering, etc., as well as outside partners and vendors towards the creation of a unified consumer facing experience. Multiple positions. - Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following: • Java, Python, or Node.js; • XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; • REST, SOAP, and Web Service APIs; • Oracle, Redis, or Cassandra databases; • Object-oriented JavaScript, and J2EE; • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and best practices; • Writing application code and deploying to production; • Developing backend services, performing code reviews, and collaborating with peers on software development solutions; and • Designing data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases. Pay Range: $118477.00/year to $196000.00/year. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
