DESCRIPTION:
HPLC and CCS, an integral part of Chromatography & Mass division – is primarily responsible for the Product Support in HPLC and chemistries business (eg; Columns & sample prep).
REQUIREMENTS:
The role requires hands-on experience w.r.t chromatographic techniques & instrumentation workflow, especially Pharma and BioPharma workflows
Collaborative work with Solution and Business unit to develop and trouble shoot the HPLC and column chemistries.Provide technical support to cross functional teams converting to, optimizing and troubleshooting chromatography products, may not be limiting to any market.Responsible for method development activities for all chromatography products.Being, integral part of CoE lab, involves in every day-to-day lab activities and Lab upkeep.Involves in workshop/customer visit/seminars at CoE lab & at Customer site.Provides/disseminates effective technical information on to assist sales team/channel partners/customers in optimizing applications.Involves in new product development evaluations.Online Tech support & be an integral part of HPLC and CCS product complaints handling & trouble shootings.Responsible to generate technically reviewed Application notes & contributes to upload data/reports to the global Tech tools (Apps Lab).Gathers competitive information and keeps a close eye on technology trends and scientific literature & cascades to the sales force team.Willingness to travel (may be 25% to 50% of the time/month), though sometimes within short notice.Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Must have at least M.Sc in Chemistry/Biotechnology/Life Sciences or related fields with 10-15 years of experience in relevant industry experience or Ph.D in Chemistry/life Science or related discipline.Should have a clear understanding of Pharma/ Biopharmaceutical/applied workflow Publications in peer-reviewed journals would be an added advantage. Good understanding of research projects using standard techniques and protocols.Should be a good team player, ready to learn new techniques and innovative thinker
