Setup and configure Netbackup server/client and tape librariesTroubleshoot and resolve missed and failed Netbackup backupsMonitor daily Netbackup activity and reporting to proactively avoid issuesModify and optimize backup schedulesImprove automation and productivity of backups through scripting enhancementsTroubleshoot and resolve missed and failed Netbackup backupsInterface with vendors for escalation of issuesProcessing of tapes for offsite storageUpdate Netbackup policies and procedures Monitor daily Netbackup activity and reporting to proactively avoid issuesprocessing of tapes for offsite storageUpdate Netbackup policies and proceduresExperience on tape drives and librariesexperience in Data Domain with VERITAS Netbackup / Any other Enterprise Level Backup ApplicationGood Hands on experience on De-duplication, Replication & Storage Life Cycle Policies ConceptsExperience in Configuring and troubleshooting of Storage Life Cycle policiesGood knowledge on Capacity PlanningHands-on experience in implementation of Boost, OST & VTL solutionknowledge of managing and administering of Data Domain systemSystem administration experience on Windows, HPUX or Sun Solaris, and knowledge on VMware would be an added value.Knowledge on ITIL processes like Incident management, Problem Management and Change Management processes.Certification on Data Domain/Netbackup technology is an added advantage.Acclimatized & cognizant of the process to log case & work with Vendor SupportProvide operational support on a 24x7 rotation basis.Added skills : Data Domain/StoreOnce and Cohesity
