The Advanced Technology Strategic Business Unit of Raytheon has an exciting opportunity to step into the Procurement Professional role in a highly dynamic and collaborative environment, managing supplier performance and the entire purchase order life cycle (requirements including supplier development, requirement solicitations, Purchase Order award, post-award management, and closeout activities) for DoD, FMS, and DCS customers within the procurement team. Advanced Technology is the at the forefront of the latest new developments in technology including advanced radars, sensors, hypersonics, missile defense, torpedoes, and much more. **What You will Do:** Perform procurement activities of low to medium dollar purchase orders utilizing integrated supply chain models in compliance with all regulatory and corporate requirements. Primary capabilities in supplier management such as the following will be needed. Preparation of all manner of solicitations including RFQs, RFPs, and RFI. Drive the success of meeting business factory MRP and financial requirements. Drive the success for metrics, Late to Place, Late to Dock, Delinquent Material, etc. Work closely with the Program and other functional groups (Operations, Quality, Engineering, Program Management, Finance, and more) to achieve objectives. Maintain PO's to ensure accurate and timely supplier delivery information. Analyze quotations/proposals utilizing price/cost analysis techniques. **Qualifications You Must Have:** Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience or an Advance Degree. Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, management, finance, or similar role. Experience Analyzing Cost and Pricing Data and determine proposal compliance Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services including Statement of Work (SOW) review. Experienced in contributing to the successful completion of a project which enhanced performance within an area of responsibility. SAP based environment experience.
