Your role at BaxterThis role will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing financial data to ensure compliance with established rules and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of master data principles, financial systems, and data flows. Candidate must possess 4+ years in Financial Reporting and/or master data management, with critical thinking skills to spot execution improvement areas.

What you'll be doingReview and analyze financial master data to ensure compliance with established rules and regulations
Identify data that does not align with established rules and develop recommendations for remediation
Collaborate with collaborators to implement Finance Master Data policies and procedures
Collaborate with collaborators to maintain accurate and up-to-date master data
Conduct regular audits to ensure data quality and integrity
Understand system interfaces and how master data will impact reporting tools
Build and maintain process documentation, including data flows, to ensure transparency and understanding of financial data
Work together with cross-functional teams and business collaborators to guarantee data flows are accurate and up to date
Think critically to identify areas for improvement in execution
Develop and implement operational improvements to improve Finance Master Data policies and compliance
Collaborate with collaborators to identify and prioritize improvements in execution
What you'll bringBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
4+ years of experience in Financial Reporting and/or master data management
Experience with data flow diagrams and process documentation, and with data governance tools (i.e. EDM) and technologies is a nice to have but not a requirement
Intermediate to Advanced Excel and PowerPoint Skills
English B2+ or higher required
Ability to interpret Finance Master Data principles, financial systems, and data flows
Knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools - Oracle, Cognos, JDE & Power BI (i.e. BaxIntel/PlanIT/FCCS) is a plus
